I just wanted to give everyone a couple updates regarding my website and blog.
- I added my previous post Before & After Examples to the links section on my blog listed as “Before & After”
- I launched a new section of my Weddings Website called Featured Couples. It is is under the portfolio section of my website. Make sure you go and check it out. I should be adding a couple more shoots in this section in the near future.
If you have been following me on twitter you already know I have been working on the documentary “American Marriage” with my talented friends Mike Flanagan and Courtney Bell. “American Marriage” is about the history of marriage in America. It poses the question what is “traditional marriage?” That definition has constantly been changing for several hundred years. We have experts from all different points of view. The film does not try to take a stand about who is right or wrong but allows the view to get equal representation from all sides what marriage in America is today. Today we are proud to announce the launch of the website and trailer.
Below is a screenshot of the website make sure you go check it out.
You may want to let the trailer load a little before watching. You can find larger versions of the trailer on SmugMug.
We are still looking for more people willing to donate to help make this documentary possible. We still have some great people to interview for the film and even a donation as small as $10 can help toward the travel costs or tape stock required for these interviews.
Please spread the word about this great documentary to all you friends and family. You can become a fan of the film on Facebook to keep up to date about what we are filming next. We are so excited to finish this project and get it out there for everyone to see.

Just wanted to update everyone on a few new items you can find on my blog and website. I just posted an explanation about cropping on my blog in the links section. You can find it here. I also added a new section to my website wedding portfolio called “Engaged.” See the screen shot below and make sure you head over and check it out.
You can also look forward to a new category of posts my blog called “Before & After” where I show images before and after my artistic edit. This will give you examples of what you can expect when you order a print through me verses one from the DVD you get of unedited images. I also will be opening up the “Featured Couples” section of my wedding website and possibly even have a sample album up at the same time.
A little over a month ago I blogged about the short film we shot using the, new Canon 5D Mark II camera, for the 168 Project Film Festival. The short was directed by my friend, the talented, Ian Eyre. Kolby Allen, of Solace Arts, also helped out with the shoot and the footage comes from both our cameras. Here is our short film called “Joesph’s Wheel of Destiny.”
The film was nominated for a few awards which was awesome.
The video is pretty big so you may want to let it load a little before watching. You can find larger versions of the film on SmugMug.
