Last weekend I took a trip to Vegas to shoot Tim & Cortney’s 10/10/10 wedding. My good friends Jack Ratana and Jeff Almquist joined me for the trip with Jeff heading off to his own 10/10/10 Vegas wedding and Jack coming along to assist me for the day.
Cortney is an amazing wedding photographer based out of Regina, Canada. Tim plays guitar and provides vocals for the band Into Eternity. The day started off with everyone getting ready at the Flamingo Casino & Hotel, then we headed over to Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel for the ceremony, spent an hour at the Neon Graveyard, and had a a nice dinner at Smith & Wollensky.
I was amazed how many brides we saw in Vegas, with it being 10/10/10. One chapel was trying to perform 300 wedding ceremonies before the day was over. Before Jack and I even made it up to Cortney’s room at the Flamingo we had seen at least 6 brides. I am confident though, that Jack and I were following around the most beautiful bride and most rocking wedding party in all of Vegas that day. I had so much fun hanging out with Tim & Cortney’s family and friends who all came in from out of town to celebrate. Check out below for some of my favorites from the day.
Jack was shooting from a different angle and grabbed this great shot with me hiding behind the bride and her girls.

Lucca, Tim & Cortney’s son, is only a month younger than Gideon, my son. Lucca was getting a little tired since it was nap time.

The ceremony was at Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel.
I love the holding room the girls were put in while the guys arrived. Take a look at the ceiling.

I love this image by Jack Ratana. Space was very tight at the ceremony, so it was very helpful to have Jack covering another angle.
The exchanging of the rings.
I love this shot of the new family. Lucca grabbed the feather out of Geneva’s hair causing the reactions you see.

I love this photo of the guys by Jack Ratana.
The whole wedding party
So glad Jack was there at the neon graveyard with me to capture this gem!
Another great one by my friend Jack Ratana.
